Cadillac continued it's run of making beautiful cars of superior quality into the 1930's from the success created in earlier years, and unquestionably the line of Caddy cars in this era are among the most attractive ever. The V-8 engine ensured that Cadillacs became longer and much heavier, with an average curb weight well in excess of 4,000 pounds. As a result the model line was fined tuned with considerable upgrades to the frame, suspension, headlights, and cooling system with floor boards were sturdier with the use of solid metal.
